Per Diem; varied hours/shifts according to operational needs Duties/Responsibilities: ​ It is understood that this is a summary of key job functions and does not include every detail of the job that may reasonably be required. - Under the general management and supervision of the Nurse Manager and/or direction of the Registered Nurse, performs a variety of activities that include, but are not limited to, - Direct and continuous observation of patient at a distance no greater than arm’s length from patient. - Participates in patient rounding as and when directed by the Registered Nurse - Ensures environmental safety for patient - Answers call lights and ensures patient care issues are directed to the Registered Nurse - Restocking department supplies and precautions stations - Transports patients within the department and to in-hospital locations as needed. - Clean patient equipment following the designated process - Completes patient safety sitter competency - Completes all required documentation for patient care - Communicates any and all changes in patient behavior to t...
