Job description

Job Summary: Designs, programs, commissions, installs and services automated machinery in accordance with customer requirements and external (CSA, ESA, OSHA, etc), company and department standards and policies. Generally involves the application of the following technologies; PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, robots, servo systems, industrial networks, databases and PC based software applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following; other duties may be assigned - Required to work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company Health and Safety and Other Policies - Communicate with engineering in order to fully understand sequence of operations - Validate machinery operations in conjunction with assemblers and electricians - Assist in the design control systems in accordance with customer requirements and company and department standards - Provide technical guidance to other team members with respect to the implementation of particular standards and programming techniques - Program control systems in accordance with customer requirements, company and department standards, and project specific designs - Commission, install and service machinery at the c...
