MAJOR FUNCTION: Provide professional nursing care through the nursing process. Meet the needs of the patient, family, and multidisciplinary team through communication, coordination, and evaluation. Comply with all policies and procedures; nursing standards of practice and regulatory bodies. QUALIFICATIONS : Certification/Licensure: - You must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing within six months of hire or rehire and graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position. * BSN or MSN graduates preferred - *Grandfathered Exemption of Educational Requirement: - Hired on or before May 31, 2013 -- IMC - Hired on or before August 4, 2015 – IMCW - Hired on or before May 31, 2023 – IMCM - Two (2) years critical care experience required. - Two (2) years clinical experience in specialty area required for per diem positions. - Current licensure in the State of New Jersey. - American Heart Association BLS required. - American Heart Association ACLS required. - PALS required within 3 months of hire. - National certification in area of specialty preferred.
