Position Summary: - Responsible for facilitating and completing the registration process system-wide by interviewing incoming patients, reviewing pre-registration information, entering registration information, verifying insurance, collecting payments as required, and providing point of service assistance to various service lines in order to assist the physician and patient in moving through the system for appropriate care. Education: - High School diploma or equivalent Licenses and Certification: - N/A Experience and Skills: - Technical Experience 1 year - Basic medical terminology knowledge - Typing minimum 40 wpm Role Specific Responsibilities: - Follows registration policy and procedures to accurately identify patient, insurances, obtain required signatures where applicable. - Reviews physician order for necessary components.
