Research Assistant-Term

Job description

The Research Assistant will demonstrate interest in research and/or the relevant subject matter; have experience or familiarity with the Nashville/Davidson County area and Tennessee, research study design, and qualitative data collection methods (e.g., interviews, focus groups, surveys); display strong attention to detail and organization; and commit to data quality and integrity. This position reports directly to the Nashville-based Project Coordinator and Principal Investigator of the project. Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following: Assist with piloting study enrollment procedures Assist with piloting interviews and trainings Assist with various research tasks related to study recruitment rollout Attend weekly virtual research team meetings About the Work Unit: With a genealogy dating to a one-room Nashville schoolhouse in 1785, Peabody College today is a world-class college of education and human development.
