JOB SUMMARY: Provides the discipline specific technical skills needed to support the daily operation of the assigned entertainment venue and/or event, including the handling and operation of high-risk pyro/fireworks and pyrotechnic systems. Ensures technical show quality and a positive guest experience by applying intermediate level knowledge of pyro elements. Ensure proper completion of tasks and all UO and NFPA policies, procedures and regulations are followed. EDUCATION: EXPERIENCE: - Responsible for the daily operation of the pyrotechnic elements within the assigned entertainment venue and/or event. This includes the handling of explosive material and acting as a fire watch. - Responsible for the careful loading of pyrotechnics to preserve show quality. Maintaining the proper load layout as directed by venue training and show direction. - Responsible for completing pyro/firework load and post-show cleanup, resets. Ensure that all pyro/firework waste is disposed of properly and document any issues with pyro product. - Assist with the appropriate maintenance and inventory of venue equipment/supplies as assigned for proper operation, organization, and cleanliness.
