Job Title Senior Accountant Job Description: The Senior Accountant is a key member of the Accounting team that is directly responsible for all accounting and reporting for Axis Americas. The Senior Accountant will demonstrate business acumen and have ownership of all assigned responsibilities. The Senior Accountant must have a solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), SOX compliance, internal control frameworks, and a continuous improvement mindset. This position is ideal for a candidate who is looking to be a part of a fast-paced, high-growth, diverse and hands-on environment. In addition to the boilerplate accounting responsibilities (full cycle month-end close), this role will provide innovative suggestions to improve efficiencies in support of Axis’ goals and initiatives.
