The Opportunity The Distribution Designer II is responsible for the creation of electric distribution designs. This role is to support our clients in Colorado . The Distribution Designer II coordinates with the clients, electric customers, and construction crews. Fieldwork includes a collection of existing asset data before design creation and equipment location staking at the time of construction. Distribution Designer II can work independently and provides training and support for the Distribution Designer I role. What You'll Do: - Create safe and efficient electric distribution design using Company standards - Communicate with engineers for design approval - Understands and follows client’s standards and changes to their client’s needs - Proficient in a variety of desktop, mobile, and survey software used for the design process - Experience with underground and/or overhead distribution design - Field data collection of existing assets - Staking of facilities utilized.
