Description SUMMARY: Inside Sales is first contact with customer for pricing/production/quality and delivery. Fielding all questions and concerns for customers by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. The list of duties & responsibilities below is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. - Reads correspondence or receives calls from customers to determine customer’s needs. - Quotes prices based on information received from customer/prospect and discussion with Lock Joint Tube Manufacturing group or view information available to Sales group, to ensure Lock Joint Tube can quote what is requested/required. - Confers with Engineering, Metallurgical Lab and Steel Purchasing departments to ascertain feasibility of designing new products, steel availability and testing requirements if needed. - Confers with Production department to determine feasibility and to obtain estimates of cost, production run and scrap percentage. - Corresponds with customer to inform of production progress and costs. - Creates customer specific parts if not already...
