Painter 2 Department: Power Systems Division (PSD): Employment Type: Full Time: Location: San Antonio: Description: This position is responsible for painting and sandblasting heavy equipment, oil field pump skids, generator packages, and related equipment in a shop environment. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development. Essential Functions: · Performs painting preparation process to assure quality paint application· Operates painting or coating tools on assigned equipment in order to improve appearance that results in customer satisfaction· Straightens body panels and fenders· Fills small dents that cannot be worked out with body filler· Files, grinds, sands and smooths filled or repaired surfaces· Sands or sandblasts areas to be painted and cover bumpers, windows, and trim with masking tape or paper for protection · Primes and paints repaired surfaces with care, skill and detail using applicable manufacturer paints and standards; details equipment· Maintains...
