Job description

Responsible for coordinating The Christ Hospital Physician division patient financial service department efforts. This position performs a wide variety of functions within the professional revenue cycle. In general, this position is responsible for serving as a subject matter expert within their designated area of responsibility as well as serving as a first line of communication between staff and department managers. The scope of responsibility will also include team meetings, team assignments and team building. Serve as a subject matter expert for the staff on the processes and technical requirements of the job including answering team questions and assisting the staff with work load if necessary. Meets/exceeds departmental standards of performance related to productivity and quality. Follow up, communicate regularly and help reply to all Administration, Coding Department and Office Managers incoming e-mails and phone calls. Act as a first line resource in the handling of escalated issues and work with the supervisor on appropriate resolution.
