Software Engineer - Hummingbird (Brno Office, Czech Republic)

Job description

The Red Hat Hummingbird team is looking for a Software Engineer in Brno, Czech Republic. In this role, you will help build and maintain the systems that produce hundreds of container image deliverables from open source software. You'll work across the full lifecycle of those images -- from packaging upstream code, to building and testing containers, to shipping reliable artifacts that customers depend on. Hummingbird is Red Hat's effort to deliver open source projects as compact, secure container images with as few CVEs as possible. We are an agentic-first team -- you'll accomplish much of your work by developing, directing, and refining AI agents that automate engineering tasks at scale. Prior AI agent experience is not required, but you should be excited to work this way and comfortable adapting as the tooling evolves. You'll contribute to tooling, automation, and processes that make this possible at scale, and you'll do it in the open alongside the broader open source community.
