Job DetailsJob Location: Main Campus - North Canton, OH 44720Position Type: Staff (Full-Time)Position Summary This position is responsible for general cleaning of assigned locations and areas, including daily maintenance duties, such as cleaning bathrooms, living quarters, public areas, floors; dusting, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting; and scheduled cleaning such as shampooing carpets, stripping, buffing and waxing of floors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Clean residence hall restrooms as needed Collect trash in public areas daily Strip and wax tile floors Vacuum all public area carpet Shampoo carpets as scheduled Sweep and mop all tile floors in public area Clean all glass surfaces Dust and polish furniture Deep clean assigned areas when vacant (e.g., apartments, residence halls, common areas) Buff floors with hi-speed buffer Disinfect water fountains Wipe off any appliances in assigned location (e.g., washers and dryers) Move furniture and clean behind it regularly Wash walls Maintain Inventory of cleaning supplies and stocking supplies.
