Parts & Service Controller Warrington: Service Desk: The Parts & Service Controller is responsible for the effective control of OEM callouts to machine breakdowns, warranty claims and the ordering of plant parts and materials. The role plays a key part in cost control, compliance, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities: · Manage the ordering, receipt, storage, and issuing of plant and machinery parts · Ensure critical parts availability to minimise equipment downtime · Liaise with workshop engineers to identify parts requirements · Source parts from approved suppliers, negotiating pricing and lead times where appropriate · Raise purchase orders and match delivery notes and invoices · Identify warranty-eligible repairs and components · Prepare, submit, and track warranty claims with OEM’s and suppliers · Monitor warranty breakdowns · Report on rejected or disputed claims · Maintain clear documentation for audit and cost control purposes · Support fleet cost reporting by tracking parts usage and warranty recoveries · Build strong working relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams Skills & Experience Required: Essential: · Strong organ...
