Job DetailsJob Location: Wake Forest, NC 27587Position Type: Part TimeJOB TITLE: Government/Prison Financial Aid Office Assistant DEPARTMENT: Student Resources and Financial Aid SUPERVISOR: Associate Director of Student Resources and Financial Aid PAY RATE: $13.50/hour: HOURS: 29/week: PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Southeastern’s Government/Prison Financial Aid Office Assistant is responsible for helping process federal and state financial aid, focusing particularly on students in Southeastern’s Prison Education Programs (PEP). This includes helping students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®), processing FAFSAs® and helping students correct errors, and adhering to federal and state regulations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Administer Government Financial Aid, especially the Federal Pell Grant and North Carolina Need Based Scholarship.
