Job description

The successful candidate will assist the 350th Spectrum Warfare Group (350 SWG) within the 16th Electronic Warfare Squadron (16 EWS), at Eglin AFB, Florida. The 350 SWG is the technical focal point for all electronic warfare (EW) support of warfighter systems for the Combat Air Forces (CAF) fighter, bomber, airborne surveillance and helicopter platforms. Essential Job Functions: The mission of the 350 SWG is to develop and test mission data (MD) to identify and/or defeat enemy radar and infrared guided missile systems, thus enhancing aircrew and aircraft survivability in combat. This mission includes MD design and development, operational EW testing, MD validation and verification activities, performance characterization, and integration of new and emerging threat parameters into fielded EW systems. The successful candidate will: Function as the senior EW system engineer and technical lead responsible for the design, development, testing, evaluation, and engineering of MD on the applicable EW system.
