Optme Group is looking for experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to support a major logistics operation at Gatwick Airport. This isn’t long-haul work – you’ll be making short, fixed runs between the Gatwick Consolidation Centre and the Airside Operation. Start Date: - 15th June 2026 What's on Offer: - Rate of Pay: £18.01 per hour (plus Holiday and Pension) - Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - Shift Hours: 21:30pm to 06:00am - Hours: 40 hours per week - Shift Timing: Example times below - Staff parking - Weekly pay (Every Friday) - Temp to Perm (performance-based) Requirements: Shifts: The Airport is operational 7 days per week and candidates will be working on a rolling rota. - Drive a Class 2 vehicle between two fixed airport sites (short distance only) - Load, unload and deliver goods - Collect returns and empty equipment for return to the consolidation centre - Follow all customer-specific and airport procedures - Maintain regular contact with the warehouse management team - Check all goods against the manifest and report any discrepancies - Visually inspect items for damage and record any issues promptly - Secure loads correctly and ensure they stay within weight limits - Carry out da...
