Job Description: BOM (Bill of Materials) Specialist The BOM Specialist is responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) structures to support manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain operations. He/ She will work very closely with Design engineering to release parts. This role ensures data integrity across systems and collaborates with cross-functional teams to enable smooth product launches, material planning, and production execution. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with engineering, design and procurement team to release parts. - Create, validate, and maintain accurate multi-level BOMs for new and existing products - Ensure proper structuring of assemblies, subassemblies, and component relationships - Manage CO’s process to completion in Oracle Fusion. - Work closely with Procurement, purchasing team and MDM Specialist to ensure material availability and correct part setup - Validate part numbers, descriptions, units of measure, and sourcing information - Identify and resolve discrepancies in BOM structures, material data, and system records - Maintain documentation and audit trails for BOM changes - Track and report key metrics rel...
