Position Title: Adaptive Recreation Leader I Tell me more….. The City of Peoria is seeking a Recreation Leader I for the Adaptive Recreation Division. This position plays a vital role in meeting the needs of the adaptive population in and around Peoria. As a Recreation Leader I, you will work in various adaptive programs, including but not limited to: The primary responsibilities for candidates hired through this recruitment will include assisting with Friday Night Dances, Special Olympics sports within the Adaptive Recreation Division. - Special Olympics - Friday Night Dances - Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) Adult Day Program/Summer Program Our Mission: The mission of the City of Peoria’s Adaptive Recreation Division is: “To provide a continuum of leisure opportunities and related services designed to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.” Compensation: The full hiring range for this position is $16.7398 - $18.8323 per hour .
