What you’ll need to succeed as a Database Administrator at XPO Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - 2 years of database administration experience with Oracle Server - Expertise in Oracle technologies, OCI, Exadata experience, Familiarity with monitoring tools like OEM - Strong proficiency with SQL, Oracle partitioning, and knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (2+ years) - Experience with Linux and shell scripting. - Experience with monitoring SQL performance and tuning (plan, baselines, profiles) - Experience developing PL/SQL Procedures/Packages and automation - Experience managing the deployment of DDL/DMLs to the database - Experience with CICD concepts - Ability to assist application developers with SQL review Preferred qualifications: - 4+ years of experience with database administration within Oracle - Deep knowledge/experience in the following: SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle DBA tasks - Able to stay current with emerging trends and database technologies - Able to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications and maintain a thorough knowledge of internal company software applications applicable to the position/business unit - Oracle Database Certification - Oracle...
