CICU MD - Open Rank ( Job Number: 38081 ) Description: University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus Department: Pediatrics, Section of Cardiology: Job Title: CICU MD: Position #: 00602083 – Requisition #:38081 Job Summary: The candidate's primary clinical responsibility will be to serve on the cardiac intensive care unit on a full-time basis. Presently a minimum of six weeks of clinical service is expected and this would range up to twelve weeks of clinical service. Overnight call in the CICU is mandatory. Other clinical opportunities are available and can be customized to individual interests. Participation in clinical or translational research and educational activities will be expected. Key Responsibilities: · Work with CICU leadership to enhance patient outcomes · Work with CICU leadership on quality improvement initiatives · Dedication to multi-discipline approach to patient care · Provide mentorship, education and supervision to cardiology fellows and trainees and advanced practice providers Work Location: Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado.
