Teacher Special Education RDSPD - First Colony Middle School 2026-2027 - ( 260000EZ ) Description Job Overview The Teacher Special Education Middle School RDSPD will provide direct classroom instruction in academic, behavior, social and self-care, consistent with requirements of state and federal laws as specified in each student's Individual Education Plan's skills for students in the Regional Day School Program for the Deaf. Position Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Service Delivery: - Conduct instructional services that are appropriate and consistent with goals contained in students' Individualized Education Plans (IEP) to meet their unique needs and are consistent with state and federal laws - Work collaboratively with parents, students, and school/community personnel in the development of clear, measurable Individual Educational Plan (IEP) goals and objectives that are aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) - Apply knowledge of human development and disabilities to plan and implement appropriate curriculum with appropriate accommodations, modifications, and adaptations - Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally and age-appropriate b...
