The Opportunity: SME is seeking a Project Manager to join our Steel, Coatings, and Nondestructive Testing (SCN) group to lead fabrication review services for steel and concrete structures. This role focuses on managing fabrication review projects performed in fabrication shops on behalf of Michigan counties and cities, in accordance with MDOT requirements. This position is ideal for someone who understands fabrication processes, is comfortable working directly with fabricators, and can lead technical review work from proposal through final documentation.
