Description Vice Chair for Research, Department of Pathology Case Western Reserve University / University Hospitals The Department of Pathology at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) and University Hospitals (UH) is seeking an accomplished and innovative scientist with academic leadership experience to join our department as the Vice Chair for Research. It is preferred but not required that this individual has scientific research in one of our strategic research areas (immunology, cancer or neurodegenerative diseases). The Vice Chair will work across the department’s divisions and with all of the Department’s strategic research areas to develop basic and translational research programs and the infrastructure to facilitate research success. The Vice Chair will foster faculty recruitment, faculty research mentoring, grants development efforts, planning for research facilities, space and shared equipment, and philanthropic support.
