Shipping Specialist

Job description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Processes Capital, Spares, Service, Repair and Transfer orders in the ERP system daily. - Responsible for preparing all shipping documentation for domestic and international shipments including export documents, bill of lading, pick list and custom documents. - Responsible for Coordinating warranty shipments with Service, Repair Departments and vendor returns. - Responsible for arranging transportation for all shipments and securing freight costs as required. - Responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping records. - Responsible for operating machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor. - Responsible for notifying appropriate departments of any discrepancies and/or problems with material. - Must be self-motivated and maintain a productive environment by bringing everybody’s ideas forward so that everyone will benefit from them as a team. - Must be able to work extra hours daily and on weekends as required. - Must follow and enforce all safety and environmental policies and programs; must be able to use personal safety devices as required by company policy; report any activities t...
