What You'll Be Doing Job Scope: The Mechanical Engineer provides mechanical engineering services in support of EPC projects. This role focuses on turnaround-driven capital repairs, outage work, and reliability-based modifications, supporting execution from scope development through construction, startup, and return to service. The engineer works within established plant constraints, schedules, and safety requirements while delivering code-compliant, constructible designs aligned with client work processes in Longview, TX. Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Utilize department design and drafting standards. Understand project scope, specifications and design criteria for assigned projects Provide on-site assistance during startup. Support engineering activities such as stress analysis, construction specifications, material procurement specifications, calculations and piping estimates. Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies as necessary to determine the simplest, most efficient approach to solving engineering tasks at hand.
