Classification Title: AST DIR, Health Care Admin Classification Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience. Job Description: Oversees daily operational activities for areas of responsibility: Collaborate with the Laboratory Medical Director and Director of Administration to provide financial management: - Coordinates the operations and workflow of the lab to achieve turn-around-time goals and satisfy client and pathologist needs - Disseminates information to staff as necessary to maintain effective and safe practices - Serves as a resource for complex technical and operational problem solving - Oversees testing and laboratory functions according to SOPs and job specifications - Ensures computer and middleware needs for each section are optimized to automate and integrate laboratory information systems with our processes - Sets goals for workload and staffing for each area of responsibility in coordination with the Laboratory Medical Director and Director of Administration - Works closely with the IT, Sales & Marketing, Pathologists, Laboratory...
