Job Purpose: Assist the driver in the safe operation of the assigned route and support student management as defined by the school. Key Responsibilities: - Learn and follow assigned routes using route sheets or electronic routing devices - Manage student behavior and communicate any concerns or incidents to the driver - Assist with pre trip and post trip bus inspections, including child checks, CSRS, and wheelchair lifts - Support students during loading and unloading, including operation of wheelchair lifts - Maintain positive communication with school personnel, parents, and students - Attend all required safety meetings and training sessions - Assist with emergency evacuations, including use of emergency exits - Clean the interior of the bus, including sweeping, dusting, and cleaning windows - Perform additional duties or specialized functions as req...
