Time as Reported Psychologist to work with Pediatric specialty programs

Description The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a licensed psychologist with specialty postdoctoral training in child and adolescent mental health. This time as reported faculty position is based in the Department of Psychiatry’s Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division and will have both clinical and educational responsibilities. Opportunities for scholarship related to clinical and educational efforts are encouraged, as well as within the faculty member’s area of expertise as extramural funding permits. This new position focuses on: (1) provision of evidence-based mental health services to children, adolescents and families experiencing comorbid medical illness with collaboration and consultation to their interdisciplinary care team; and (2) interdisciplinary education and training, including doctoral and postdoctoral psychology trainees; and (3) program development and evaluation. This opportunity is focused on improving the health of the children in our community through integrating behavioral health into pediatric specialty care clinics and through expanding capacity of traditional behavioral health clinics to meet the needs of these families.
