Job description

The Engineering Support Technician - 3 works independently throughout the manufacturing plants to analyze, modify, and build machines, tools, fixtures, jigs, templates, and guards. This role collaborates with other technicians, tool room personnel, engineers, department managers, and operators during the analysis and implementation phases of various projects. - Demonstrate flexibility in work hours, including overtime as needed. - Analyze, modify, and build machines, tools, fixtures, jigs, templates, and guards. - Analyze and implement engineering projects. - Troubleshoot engineering and maintenance issues. - Maintain a valid powered industrial vehicle (PIV) license if applicable. - Lead project teams and participate in process improvement workshops. - Demonstrate flexibility in work hours, including overtime as needed. - Comply with all safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures. - Rotate to other positions as needed and perform additional duties as assigned. - Strong computer, mechanical and math aptitude. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints. - Time management and organizational skills. - Ability to work w...
