Organisation: Leicestershire County Council Work Location: County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester, LE3 8RA Salary: £35,451- £39,165 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) 10% on top of grade for Market Premia (Pay award pending) Working Hours: 37 hours per week Contract Type: Permanent: Closing Date: 8th June 2026: Interview Date(s): W/c 29th June 2026 - Date TBC An opportunity has arisen to join Flood Risk Management team as a Senior Technician. This role will involve assisting the Flood Risk Manager in delivering the Council's statutory functions as a Lead Local Flood Authority and to develop and promote best practice. This includes assisting in delivering the actions of Leicestershire's Local Flood Risk Management Strategy and deputising and/or assisting the Flood Risk Manager when required in representing the Council at meetings as appropriate etc. About the Role: This role will involve being a key part of the Flood Risk Management team delivering the remit of the Lead local Flood Authority.
