Job description

Perform cleaning functions in assigned area to maintain a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition. Reports to Supervisor. - Sweeps, mops, and polishes floors. - Vacuums and spot cleans carpets. - Dusts furniture, woodwork, equipment, and dust mops floors. - Polishes and cleans fixtures in utility room and bathrooms. - Cleans fixtures, equipment, windows, walls, rest rooms, etc. - Stocks supplies in rest rooms as needed. - Remove solid linens, trash, bio-hazard from collection areas. - Notifies supervisor regarding needed repairs: submits supply order sheers on a weekly basis. - Gathers and disposes trash and waste materials. - Assist and perform Laundry Tech Linen Handler functions as needed. - Assist and perform Utility Tech functions as needed. - Participates in educational programs and in-services. - Attends meetings as required. - High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Performs routine and repetitive tasks from detailed written instructions. - Attention to detail of work routine required.
