Reporting to Senior Manager, Hardware Engineering as a Power Hardware Engineer, you will be part of an experienced engineering team that develops product-level power systems, subcomponent power designs, and circuit pack power designs for Ciena’s leading Packet Optical Transport, Data Center Interconnect and Switching products. You will be mentored by senior power specialists and work closely with Hardware Engineers for electrical circuit pack, and mechanical design teams to develop designs from concept and introduction to manufacturing. This includes design, documentation, component and system testing, collaborating with software teams for performance issues, and to manufacturing teams for hardware build issues.
