API Onboarding Engineer

Job description

The API Onboarding Engineer provides technical onboarding support and in-depth, technical guidance on complex APIs within Hapag-Lloyd’s standard API portfolio during the technical onboarding phase. Acting as a technical bridge between Hapag-Lloyd’s product teams and external technical stakeholders. Furthermore, this role involves coordinating custom integration projects for global customers and partners. It ensures that custom integrations are designed and implemented in line with technical standards, architectural best practices, and business requirements, while being delivered on time and within scope. The position combines advanced technical API expertise with strong communication skills and a customer focused mindset. Serve as a technical expert and advisor to external parties for complex APIs within Hapag-Lloyd’s standard API portfolio. Support external parties during the technical onboarding phase with advanced use cases and troubleshooting.
