Description 1 REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports to the Maintenance Team Leader. 2 PURPOSE: 2.1 Function 2.1.1 To install/repair/remove plant equipment and maintain the building facilities and grounds; 2.1.2 To assist in brainstorming improvement activities relating to equipment and tooling; 2.1.3 To update machine drawings and documentation as appropriate; 2.1.4 To develop assist in developing effective PM’s; 2.1.5 To complete and / or assign work orders in the MVP system for activities requested or completed; 2.1.6 To complete weld technician duties for touching up and writing welding programs 2.1.7 To perform and act as a team to support the needs of the organization as determined. 2.2 Authority 2.2.1 Repair and maintain plant equipment, lock-out/tag-out, and other safety related items in a timely manner; 2.2.2 Request materials as needed for assigned projects; 2.2.3 Make recommendations for improvements to equipment; 2.2.4 Make recommendations for improvements to new equipment during the debugging process. 3 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 3.1 At the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Team Leader, install, repair, remove plant equipment, and conduct preventative...
