Job description

SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall accounting operation, including financial reporting and budgeting. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Overall operation of accounting, including financial reports and budget. Oversight, management, and evaluation of accounting staff (including payroll administrator). Assure that accounting personnel are properly trained, motivated, and directed to fulfill their responsibilities. Review all journal entries for financial statements Analysis of financial statements and preparation of special reports Review accounts payables and receivables for accuracy Evaluate credit applications and oversee collection efforts. Responsible for complying with periodic financial audits Comply with company policies and procedures. Additional duties as assigned by management. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Undergraduate degree with focus on accounting and/or finance Five years to 10 years managing financial/accounting department Three years experience in manufacturing related environment Proven ability to analyze financial statements and identify potential problems Candidates are PREFERRED who offer the following: CPA Experience in the corrugated industry Experience in cash m...
