Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a motivated Open Pit Ore Control Geologist I or II to support ore control activities at the Turquoise Ridge Mine near Winnemucca, Nevada. This role is responsible for daily ore control mapping, sampling, geological interpretation, and reconciliation activities to ensure accurate ore delineation and optimal ore recovery. The successful candidate will work closely with mine operations, engineering, and geology teams to support safe and efficient mining while maintaining high data quality standards. This position plays a key role in ensuring proper material classification, minimizing dilution, and improving geological understanding of the ore body through data analysis and modeling support.
