THE POSITION: This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. The role involves managing journal entries, reconciliations, month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The Accounting Manager will supervise and mentor a team of four accountants, provide strategic direction, and ensure efficient workflow. Additionally, the role includes assisting with production of financial statements, budgets, and internal and external audits. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments to drive financial success.
