Job description

The Butler University Human Resources department operates through a collaborative model of specialized teams, including Benefits, Compensation, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, Data Analytics, and Operations and Compliance. Each team provides focused expertise within its functional area, ensuring that leaders and employees receive dedicated support aligned to best practices and regulatory requirements. This position is part of the Operations and Compliance team and serves as a key subject matter expert in employee relations, policy interpretation, and organizational practices. The role is responsible for advising leaders on complex people matters, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and employment regulations, and strengthening operational effectiveness across assigned departments. Responsibilities for benefits administration, compensation, recruitment, and training are supported by dedicated HR teams, allowing this role to focus on employee relations strategy, investigations, compliance oversight, and organizational risk management.
