Manager, Manufacturing Engineering Department: Manufacturing Engineering: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Gainesville, FL: Reporting To: Sr Director Operations and Engineering Description: Responsible for leading and managing the manufacturing engineering team. This role involves overseeing manufacturing engineering activities that support sustaining, new product development, and continuous improvement projects and initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - · Overall responsibility for the Manufacturing Engineering organization. - · Leading the activities of manufacturing techs and process engineers to ensure that we are continuously improving and maintaining compliance. - · Work cross functionally to integrate existing and/or new products into the manufacturing operation and supply chain. Utilize Design Assurance process to ensure process changes do not impact the design requirements. - Responsible for all tooling evaluation and production integration. - Demonstrate a proficiency in project management, including obtaining up-front agreement on project definitions and priorities, and ensuring that resources, capabilities and processes are in place. - Establish written team and indi...
