Job Description: An opportunity for an Space Systems Functional Avionics Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). Airbus Space division in Madrid is Spanish Leader Company for developing and manufacturing complex space systems. Airbus DS was selected in 2020 as prime of LSTM mission, being the first Spanish company to lead the development of a Copernicus satellite for ESA. Recently, Airbus DS has also signed a contract for development of PAZ2 satellites, the most advance Earth Observation satellites ever designed and built in Spain. The selected Avionics engineer will contribute to several of functional avionics disciplines. At short-term the selected engineer will support on FV and FDIR activities of LSTM mission. In mid-term support of on the same domains in PAZ2 mission. He/she will work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team and will contribute to the on-cost, on-time and on-quality product delivery to customer.
