Company: Allegheny Health Network Job Description: GENERAL OVERVIEW: This position will work with Developmental Pediatric patients, daylight hours possible on-call responsibility, no weekends or evenings. This job is an integral part of the care delivery system working together to provide a healing environment, by placing our customers first. The incumbent provides primary healthcare services for non-acute or chronic health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization within the Physician Assistant's scope of practice. Work is performed in a physician office or offices dedicated to Pediatrics, weekend, and on-call coverage on a rotational basis, as required. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides appropriate pediatric patient care to include recording patient medical history and physical assessment, developing therapeutic care plan, ordering lab and diagnostic tests, interpreting test results, and providing accurate medical record documentation.
