SMG is seeking a Contractor Rep in San Diego, California. This is a Saturday/Sunday ONLY role. The contractor rep acts as the primary safety liaison between the contractor’s management and the workforce. They are responsible for ensuring that all safety regulations, hazard controls, and protective measures are followed, and for creating a culture of safety awareness Overview of Job Responsibilities: - Represent general contractors on the project - Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and industry safety regulations. - Regularly inspect the site for hazards and unsafe practices, and take corrective action. - Look into accidents or near-misses to determine causes and prevent recurrence. - Educate workers on safe work practices, emergency procedures, and proper use of PPE. - Communicate safety concer...
