RIMI will provide 100% financial support for Mammography Certification. Schooling will take place during employees' regularly scheduled shifts. SUMMARY: This position will require flexibility and floating to our other locations as needed; must be willing to travel. The practice of radiography is performed by a segment of health care professionals responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation to humans for diagnostic purposes. Under the direction of the Lead Technologist and/or Site Manager, the Radiographer/X-Ray Technologist performs radiographic procedures and related techniques producing images at the request of and for interpretation by licensed healthcare professionals. They interact effectively and professionally with patients, referring physicians/their staff, and fellow employees while maintaining the best possible patient flow and throughput at all times.
