Job Title: Professional Advisor at Sevier County Campus Hiring Salary Range: $46,933 - $58,665 Institution: Walters State Community College - Sevier County Campus ( Employees are assigned to a “home” location but may occasionally or regularly be required to work at other WSCC locations.) Job Purpose: Partner with students and assist them in determining and achieving their education and career goals. Assist students with career assessment and planning, support onboarding efforts prior to and during new student orientation sessions. Provide ongoing academic advising support and follow up with an assigned student population and guide students to college and community support services. Develop career and academic field expertise and gather transfer content knowledge through collaboration to share with students, faculty advisors, and staff. Essential Job Functions: - Establish a relationship with assigned students in one-on-one and group settings. Provide educational and career planning, academic advising and support throughout the student’s educational experience. Facilitate connections to WSCC and other support services.
