Staff Accountant

Job description

Requirements: - Financial reporting: Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). - A/P & A/R Processing: Perform accounts payable, account receivable, and administrative functions for corporate entity in accordance with established policies, procedures, and controls. - Month-end and year-end close: Assisting with the accurate and timely completion of month-end and year-end closing procedures. - Account reconciliation and analysis: Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger accounts, analyzing financial records, and resolving discrepancies. - Journal entries: Preparing and reviewing journal entries to ensure proper recording of financial transactions. - Audits and compliance: Supporting internal and external audits, including maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. - Education: Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field - Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles. - Technical accounting expertise: Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards and regulations....
