As the Environmental Health and Safety Specialist, you will develop and oversee plans and actions to ensure compliance with Federal, state, and local rules and regulations regarding the environment, workplace and public safety, and accessibility requirements for the Airports. Environmental Health and Safety Specialist Serves in the Engineering and Facility Services Department at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) or the Engineering and Facility Services Department at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). Oversees airport compliance with rules and regulations regarding the environment, workplace and public safety, and public access requirements. Designs, implements, inspects, analyzes, and monitors corrective actions taken for regulatory noncompliance. Provides technical advice on the proper handling of hazardous materials.
