Serve Others, Enrich Lives, Rise Together and Give Back Job Overview: Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Supplier Quality Engineer plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of the quality operation system (QOS) for manufacturing processes, materials, and products. A strong focus on eliminating quality process failures using solid preventive measures, corrective action plans and use of mistake proofing. Work with supply base to ensure they are producing quality products on time. Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities: - Core Ford quality experience as a Tier 1 supplier - Support and actively participate in the APQP process for new product launch. - Lead supplier problem-solving activities and continuous improvement efforts as it relates to customer satisfaction and quality improvement. - Support ISO/IATF guidelines, audits, and other initiatives. - Support core tool developm...
