PRIMARY PURPOSE: As a Host Cashier, you will be responsible for monetary transactions. You will also set the stage for the guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. Position: Part-Time Hourly: Location: Gold Strike Casino PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensure procedures are being followed. - Operate the POS system. - Handle money and credit transactions. - Notify the manager on duty of any guest concerns. - Perform other job-related duties as requested. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - High school diploma or equivalent. - One (1) year of Food & Beverage Cashier or equivalent experience in a cash-handling position - Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. - Experience in a high-volume food outlet. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: - Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in a very high-paced and stressful environment. - Knowledgeable of a Point of Sales (POS) system including handling all monetary/credit transactions; including working knowledge of computerized cash registers. - Knowledgeable of food and beverage operations and procedures. - Excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business c...
