Job Description The Opportunity: Assistant Professor of ESL (Non-Tenure Track) Position Summary: The Assistant Professor of English as a Second Language (ESL) at the Embry-Riddle Language Institute (ERLI) is a non-tenure track, full-time faculty position dedicated to high-quality instruction and student success. The faculty member’s primary responsibilities are teaching, advising, and contributing to curriculum delivery in alignment with ERLI’s mission and accreditation standards. Non-tenure track faculty are vital members of the academic community and are appointed on renewable contracts based on performance and program need. Primary Responsibilities: Teaching & Teaching-Related Duties: - Organize instructional planning according to objectives in the ERLI curriculum. - Oversee the continuous improvement of courses to strengthen content and ensure coverage of all curricula. - Complete and submit syllabi, course plans, diagnostic and final exams, Early & Midterm Alerts, and other required documents by established due dates. - Maintain accurate daily attendance records in the online system. - Keep grade records and report grades weekly. - Assess student academic progress on an ongoin...
